Where do I go when I arrive for Sunday School?

Sunday School begins at 9:15am for all ages. Classes are generally arranged according to age/life stage, so we offer a nursery, pre-K, grade school, middle/high school, college & career, and young, median, and senior adult classes. Classes are primarily held in our education building (the one next to our large parking lot in the back). When you arrive, simply follow the signs or ask a greeter for directions to a class.

Where do I go when I arrive for worship?

Worship begins at 10:30am in our worship building (that is the big one facing Camphor St.). Parking is located at the back of our facilities. You can take Fairfax or Condon (or just follow the signs!). Once you arrive approach the awning with the welcome sign under it. you can follow the crowd toward our worship building at the front of the property. Greeters will be around to assist you.

If you require specific accommodations, handicapped parking is located in the front of the worship building.

What if I have kids?

At Parkview we’re passionate about families worshiping together. Each worship service begins with children and parents together, and at the conclusion of the music portion of our service, children (4 years through 3rd grade) have the option to attend Children’s Church or stay with their parents for the sermon. We also offer a nursery for children ages birth to 3 years.

What should I expect during worship?

At Parkview all we do revolves around God’s Word and bringing glory to Jesus Christ. As you participate, we hope you experience that in the songs we sing, the prayers we pray, and the sermons you hear. We sing both old and new songs which are accompanied by a variety of instruments including piano and guitar.

What if I don’t have Bible?

If you do not have a Bible, we are more than happy to provide you one in a modern translation. This is our gift and way of helping provide you with God’s Word in a way that you can understand.

What if I have more questions?

If you have any more questions you can always ask a staff member. You can grab one of us Sunday morning or you can find our emails on our staff page!

How do I receive Jesus as my Savior?

First, you need to understand that you have sinned against God. Sin is disobedience to God’s Word and God’s Character. Sin separates us from God in a way that we can never make right with our own power.

Second, you need to understand that Jesus died a sacrificial death and shed His blood for your sins. In dying on the cross, Jesus took the punishment from God that you and I deserve because of our sins. God is completely satisfied in the sacrifice of Jesus because Jesus never sinned and gave His life in obedience to God the Father as your substitute.

Third, you need to understand that Jesus did not stay dead. Three days after dying Jesus resurrected from the grave defeating death. Because Jesus had the power to defeat death, He has the power to offer you eternal life as well.

Fourth, you need to repent of your sins and receive the gift of salvation by placing your faith in Jesus Christ. To repent of your sins means to admit them, confess them to God, and agree with God that your sin is wrong. Repentance also means that you desire to live a different life that is pleasing to God. Faith, means that you put all of your trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation. You trust His life, death, and resurrection as sufficient for your salvation.

At the moment you repent of your sins and place your faith in Jesus Christ, God immediately gives you the gift of salvation and eternal life. God cleanses you from all of your sins past, present, and future, and He gives you a new heart that desires to live for Him. God also gives you the gift of His Holy Spirit to seal your salvation for all of eternity and to empower you to live a life pleasing to Him.

If you have made this decision to trust in Christ for your salvation or if you have any other questions please call our church office or contact one of our staff or church members. We would love to share more of the good news of Jesus Christ to you.
